Little Owls enjoyed a science morning where we looked at amazing animals and how they survive.  We looked at how an animal is suited to its environment e.g. camouflage, colour changing and mimicking.  We then had hands on experiences of our senses.  We tasted different kinds of dried fruits, we created colours using the prime colours in light boxes, we listened to different sounds and matched them to pictures, we had feely bags and had to describe what was inside.  We also had the opportunity to smell different scents and try to explain what they were and finally we used our balance to walk a line and a zigzag line and then increased the challenge by doing it with our eyes closed and further challenged ourselves by doing it on stilts.    We had a wonderful morning with Oxford Science!
