On Monday, 15th September 2024, Year 5 & 6 had a Roman experience. Year VI (also known as year 6) started the day off with VR headsets, and Year V (also known as year 5) started with artefacts.
With the VR, we looked at videos and images of famous Roman artefacts and ancient Roman lives. We also looked at places like the Colosseum and videos of Roman entertainment.
We looked at artefacts, and we also dressed up in Roman clothing, such as armour and vests. We also made tiled mosaic patterns, Roman-day buildings, archways, and lots more. We even found out our own names in the ancient Roman language.
But the most fun was playing games based on ancient Rome!
This was an amazing experience. Thanks to everyone that made this possible for us.
