On the 18th of June, some of the girls from year 5 and 6 went to Dinton Cricket Ground. First of all, we played against Long Crendon School. Sadly, we lost to them. But in that match Chole saved some powerful hits whilst Espi’s batting was spectacular. In the second match, we played Thomas Hickman School. Thanks to Bella and Holly’s batting which helped us win the match 92 runs to us. Posie and Aurora also made some incredible bowls. In the 3rd match, Sofia and Florence hit some amazing fours and sixes in the game against Oak Green School, which we won 108 wickets to 51. Finally, we played Aston Clinton School. Although we lost with 48 wickets, Emily and our superb captain, Isabelle, did some incredible batting, scoring some fours.
Although we didn’t make the finals, we still enjoyed every moment playing as a team. Thank you to Mrs Stockton, Mrs Clark and everyone else who cheered us on and supported us all day.
