Girls match report 16.5.24
On Thursday the 16th of May, the girls football team played their final match against Oakley School. We won 3-1 and we all played incredibly in both halves. Maya and Annabel kindly put themselves forward to play for the other team because they didn’t have enough players. Florence, Ellie and Holly were amazing in defence with Sophia in goal for the first half saving some great shots. Izzy and Bella were fantastic in midfield and made some super chances. Next, Emily was superb as striker.
In the second half, Holly was goalie as Shana and Emma made some tricky passes through their defenders. First, Bella scored a goal that equalised the score. After, Izzy ran up the pitch and passed to Emily who tapped it into the bottom corner of the net making it 2-1 to us. Izzy secured our victory by scoring an excellent strike.
