On Thursday 1st February the boys school football team played Brill School in a league match.
Our defence played amazingly, Drew, Jackson and Jackson made some strong challenges keeping us in the game.
Our midfield, including Jacob and Jackson C, Rory, Blayne and Raph, created brilliant chances and scored two goals. Jacob scored the first goal, showing great skill getting past their defence. Shortly after Raph put us 2-0 up with a great finish.
Although we were winning 2-0, their team became very competitive.
During the first half Ned and George played excellently, using some great chances. Freddie was excellent in goal during the first half.
In the second half Ned kindly volunteered to go in goal, whilst Freddie moved to defence. The oposistion scored 3 good goals. The final score was 2-3 to Brill.
The man of the match went to Drew, congratulations.
