On Thursday 13th October the year 6 football team played Quainton in a league match. Ewan, our goalkeeper, saved some outrageous goals! In defence Freddie F, Cooper and Luke stopped many balls from coming Ewan’s way.
In mid-field Jasper, Freddie M, Luke, Peter and Henry performed some incredible tackles and amazing passes allowing Dillon and Jasper an opportunity to shoot a goal. Jasper scored a brilliant goal from the halfway line, assisted by Dillon. Dillon also scored two further goals, assisted by Luke.
Peter and Freddie M played everywhere, except goal. Henry played left wing, delivering some great crosses.
Congratulations to Ewan and Dillon voted players of the match.
In the end we won 4-2 against Quainton. We are particularly proud as they were last year’s cup winners!
