We have celebrated World Book Day in style here at the Junior Site! The children looked absolutely fabulous in their character costumes, showcasing a remarkable array of people and characters who have inspired them and captured their imaginations. The excitement in the air was palpable as we engaged in a variety of activities, including creating dazzling dragon eyes and experimenting with exploding book-making.
Storytime was a highlight of the day, with children snuggling down in various corners of the school, transported to different worlds through enchanting tales.
A particular success was Our STARBOOKS Cafe, where the children were given the delightful opportunity to taste a selection of both new and beloved literary works. They dived wholeheartedly into the delicious text and scrumptious book covers, nibbling on blurbs while making some fantastic recommendations of their own.
The joy of reading was truly evident in every smile and every shared story.
