This half term, for our topic on Crime and Punishment, Year 5 and 6 have been enjoying the book Holes by Louis Sachar. We have been studying the book in guided reading, reading it for pleasure and a focus for our writing.
We have thoroughly enjoyed this novel and to finish the half term, we hosted a ‘Movie Night’, where the children brought a picnic tea, treats and comfortable clothes and pillows to enjoy watching the film based on the novel.
