Year 6 Young Enterprise Challenge raising £1241.45 for charity!
The Goats company were selling canvass’, magnets and made two different games: soak the goat and beat the keeper. As a company, they made £315.81 for UNICEF.
Glitz ‘n’ Sugar were selling homemade lemonade, sweet bags, glitter paint, painted stones and a range of books. Their game was guess the number of sweets in the jar. As a business they raised £258.72 for their selected charity: WWF.
Pop-Rat were selling popcorn with a selection of toppings. Their game was splat the rat. Their charity was Global Water Foundation and they raised £154.61 for their charity. They had large queues, but they sold their items for a cheap price, so they made the least amount of money but had lots of fun!
Treat Home was selling many products including fudge, bracelets, bookmarks, shells and origami. They were raising money for Emmet’s Genies who help ill children. Their game was guess the name of the teddy bear and they made £285.34 altogether.
S&B Designs company were selling the most delicious and scrumptious cakes in the world. Including Cake pops coated in chocolate and sprinkles and Rainbow cake. We also ran a game which was called Guess The Cup. S&B Designs were raising money for two charities including UNICEF and Cancer UK, splitting the money between the two. This company managed to raise £226.97.
In total of all the money that our companies made was £1241.45 which is an incredible number that we thought we would never achieved. Thank you to all of the teachers that managed to make this happen. Without you we wouldn’t have been able to make this money for charity without everyones support.
