On Monday the 10th of June 2024 Ken, from Zoolab came and treated year 3 and 4 to some Amazon Rainforest creatures. First was Flash the Giant African land snail, his skin was white not brown, so he was an albino. Second was Gary the Hissing Cockroach with his amazing exoskeleton and his superpower of being able to eat nearly everything except from plastic, metal, glass and brick. Thirdly was Charlotte the tarantula that flings her hairs at predators. They would itch for a month. Yikes! Fourthly was Milly the Giant Millipede with her spiky but tickly legs. Fifth, was everybody`s favourite… Freddo the tree frog, named after the famous chocolate. First, he climbed the wall, then jumped around. Then he wouldn`t let go of ken’s finger! Last but not least, Trunks the Corn Snake with his smooth scales and his long-forked tongue.
